2024 Astrology horoscopes - Cancer

This year is looking terrific for Cancers. After more than a decade of Pluto sitting opposite your sign, it toddles off into Aquarius, with only a 3-month return that will impact those of you born July 20-22. This is a return to themes that have been ongoing for a year or two - perhaps a transformation or change in an area of your life isn’t quite complete - expect final events from September - November.

Jupiter hovers through Taurus until May 28. This is a sextile aspect that buoys your confidence and general sense of wellbeing. You may feel inclined to make extra efforts around your home, to cosy it up and add an extra layer of comfort to your usual Cancerian instincts for nesting and nurturing. If you’re going to cook someone a fab meal, then why not serve it to them on glorious crockery and sit around on fabulous chairs?! It’s that sort of vibe. There may also be invitations to spend time in nature - it’s a good chance to go to a wellness retreat or to just enjoy an Autumnal weekend away in wine country. The energy is peaceful and calm.

For many of you, this year may feel like a bit of a gentle turning point - the nodal axis squares everyone born Jun 25 - July 15 and this can be a pivot. It’s likely to be subtle. Perhaps your job and values aren’t aligned, or your current spending isn’t matching up with your savings goals - this energy helps you to decide what it is you truly want and reset your actions in order to get things back on track. Try to keep your perspective broad, and let big picture topics such as ‘life purpose’ and ‘spiritual fulfilment’ be factors in any decision making.

For those of you born July 13-17, there may be some interesting insights around April 21. This is helpful, shakeup energy. If you’ve been waiting to press ‘go’ on a business, project or trip away, then this is the time to do it.

While many in the Zodiac are burdened by the building of the Neptune/Saturn conjunction in Pisces, you actually benefit from it! At a trine angle, it brings structure, dreams, idealism and discipline. It’s as is you can imagine where you want to go, AND put plans in place to actually get there.

Adding to the momentum is a visit from Mars from September 5 - November 7. This adds fire in your belly. It’s a nice long stay, as the planet of action slows, ready to station retrograde in Leo. It does duck back into your sign in January 2025, with a more trip-hazard type of energy.

But all in all, it’s a great year! Go forth, work and play hard, but also relax and enjoy yourself.
